THE RUMPUS ROOM IS A SOCK ONLY ENVIRONMENT



We are located in Downtown Brunswick, Maine at 9 Cumberland Street, just behind Peoples United Bank (formerly Maine Bank and Trust).  There is ample parking in front of our building and Maine Street and the public parking lot behind the former Grand City location are just steps away. We always keep hours and pricing current on our homepage. Keep reading for more helpful hints to make your first visit a great one.

  Things to remember when visiting:

• You are welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks to enjoy in our snack area. We do have light concessions available for purchase.
• Socks are required for entry for all babies, children, and adults. This is to maintain a clean, and safe environment for everyone. Socks are available for purchase. Toss a few extra pairs of socks in your car/diaper bag/purse and then you don’t have to worry! Indoor slippers or soft-bottom shoes are ok for children to wear.
• If you are aware that your child is contagious with an illness other than the common cold, we ask you to refrain from visiting until they are well again.
• To ensure your child’s safety, parents are asked to supervise their children at all times. If you have any questions about the safety and age-appropriateness of our toys and structures, please speak to a staff member.

Open Memorial Day Weekend!

The Rumpus Room is a safe, clean, active and creative play space for kids ages 0-6. We believe children should have a space where they are welcome to run, jump, climb, imagine and play to their heart’s content.

We also believe parents should have a place away from the home to connect with other parents in the community.  The Rumpus Room is just the place for everyone to meet their needs.
